They say third time’s the charm. ‘Meraki 3.0’ certainly delivered and more as the annual art exhibition cum festival took place at R.E.A.L Schools, Cheras Campus from 7th to 12th July 2018. The week-long event featured an impressive collection of art ranging from paintings to collages, sculptures, and even ‘live art’ performances such as mime and dance. With the students’ original artwork also up for sale – along with those of several guest artists – it was an occasion not to be missed for keen art enthusiasts. Part of the proceeds garnered was donated to charity, which included those raised from a mini carnival that offered food, fun, and games to students and visitors alike. On top of being a platform for young, budding talents to showcase their artistic and creative skills; the exhibition also aimed to promote and celebrate all things art that are uniquely ‘Meraki’.
