The International School of Kuala Lumpur is pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the 2019 International School Leader award in the “Initiative for Inclusion” category, based on our Life-Centered Education (LCE) program. Our High School & Middle-School Inclusion programs (the Elementary School program was only getting started when the application was submitted) is one-of-a-kind for older students available in Kuala Lumpur, to support the needs of students with diagnosed intellectual or developmental differences. It is rewarding to see our commitment to inclusion recognized by our peers, and this is especially exciting as this is the first year the awards have been open to all international schools. Winners will be announced in January 2019.
