As Africa’s leading carrier airlines, Ethiopia Airlines is proud to announce their newest venture, the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel.
Located just a little ways away from the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, the Skylight Hotel is set to be the biggest of its kind in Ethiopia — with 373 rooms, four restaurants (including what will be the largest Chinese restaurant in Africa), swimming pools, gift shops, patisseries, a 2000-pax banquet hall, 5 meeting rooms, a gym, a health centre, a ticket office, and more!
The establishment of this cutting edge facility aims to aid the high traffic of global passengers through Ethiopia’s capital city, as Addis Ababa gains momentum in being the welcoming hub for the world into Africa.
Via travel packages offered by ET Holidays, tour operator wings of Ethiopia Airlines, as well as travellers in transit at Addis Ababa Airport, the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel guarantees a favorable stay in Ethiopia; thus adding to the growth of the nation’s tourism experience.
The hotel, managed by Grand Skylight Hotel Management Co. Ltd (GSHM), has opened up over 800 job opportunities upon operation, and looks to expand even more with the commencement of its second phase, bringing the total guest room number to 1000.
This is concurrent with the unveiling of a state-of-the-art passenger terminal at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, a project by Ethiopian Airlines and SKTRAX Certified Four Star Global Airline. The terminal features the latest in security system technologies, self-check-in machines, self-boarding systems, lounges, duty-free shops and other amenities a world-class airport should have.
