On 19th March 2019, St. John’s International School (SJIS) officially opened a new campus (Campus 2) building for its Upper Secondary and Pre-University students. Just 200 metres from the SJIS Campus 1, the senior students will get hands-on learning experience with new facilities for science, computer laboratories, language learning rooms, a new library, and fully modern classrooms complete with internet connection.
The Deputy British High Commissioner to Malaysia, Mr. David Thomas, was the guest of honour for the opening of Campus 2, along with a delighted crowd of parents, students and other esteemed guests. YM Tunku Dato Seri (Dr) Iskandar Bin Tunku Abdullah, Advisor to the SJIS Board of Governors and Chairman, as well as other members of the board were present to offer congratulatory speeches.
SJIS Principal, Mr. Suresh Dass was extremely excited for both the students and staff to make the most of the new and modern facilities. To the SJIS staff, the new Campus 2 launch represents another milestone for progress in the school’s history.
