Garden International School is delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for the 2019 international Relocate Awards as a School Offering Outstanding Relocation Support, for the second year running.
Their transition efforts truly shine on a global stage:
• For new families, the school’s PTF (Parent Teachers Friends) Committee offers new parent coffee mornings, KL orientation trips and a popular family ‘buddy’ system to help new families to quickly settle in
• For those leaving GIS, the school arranges for special leavers’ assemblies, personalised ‘leavers’ kits,’ and on-hand counselling support to ensure every child gets to have a ‘good goodbye’.
• For Sixth Form students, GIS offers professional internships to help prepare them for ‘life beyond GIS’ and comprehensive university mentoring.
