SLAM Presents: Atlantis Has Fallen by John Kam
Malaysian-based photographer John Kam is SLAM’s latest weekend feature with his newest project Atlantis HAs Fallen featuring Hammand Bamadhaj. Driven by the indifference of the public towards the preservation of sea forests that are coral reefs, the duo aim to blur fantasy and reality of a world with and without coral reefs in our oceans. It is hoped that the visual art medium would be more digestible than news reports, and that audiences will address the matter in a more urgent tone.
