Print Friendly, PDF & Email

RAS SS May

Raffles American School students and teachers prepared the necessary tools for observing the solar eclipse which occurred the morning of March 9, 2016. One of the RAS Schoolwide Learning Outcomes is Organizational/ Research Skills. Students developed appropriate tools, used appropriate technology and employed various strategies to gather relevant information as the solar eclipse unfolded.

Sharing this scientific phenomenon together as a full community allowed the students to not only learn about the eclipse itself, but to show respect toward each other and work effectively in a group situation, demonstrating character/ interpersonal skills.
