The Alice Smith School Primary Campus students celebrated two wonderful days of community-minded merriment on campus. The theme of the Charity Days is “Our Home” focusing on concepts of:We are all citizens of Earth, We all have the right to a safe and pleasant home, Many people are not as lucky as us, and We have a responsibility to help them.
Our two deserving charities this year were the Chin Student Organisation (CSO) and the Shelter Home for Children in Kuala Lumpur. A range of activities and initiatives were organised by students to raise money for these two worthy causes. When not raising money, our students spent classroom time focusing on their responsibility as global citizens to help those less fortunate. A huge “well done” to everyone for their efforts in raising the enormous sum of RM63,348 to give others a better chance at life!
