Kaleidoscope IV – HANDS International Drumming Festival 2016

‘Drumming Nation’ is the 4th installation to HANDS Percussion’s International Drumming Festival, Kaleidoscope. Drawing on the 28-year foundation of 24 Festive Drums, HANDS makes a difference with this festival. This biennial international festival is a hub for diversity in drums, percussion and music which showcases Malaysia at its best.
This year, there are three overseas acts joining HANDS in the festival; Dafra Drum (USA and Burkina Faso), Gamelan JingGong (Bali, Indonesia), and Max Riefer (Germany). On the local front, they have Kamrul Hussing and Geng Wak Long, Tan Su Yin, Chia CHeng Kok and friends from the Temple of Fine Arts, as well as HANDS.
