Beginning 1 September 2012, passengers travelling to Chennai, India will enjoy more connectivity with Malaysia Airlines’ new daytime frequencies between Kuala Lumpur and the South Indian city.
Effective that date, the current daily night service to Chennai will be complemented by four weekly daytime flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
The daytime flight MH182 departs Kuala Lumpur at 09:35 hours and arrives in the South Indian city at 10:45 hours. The return flight departs Chennai at 11:45hours to arrive Kuala Lumpur at 18:15 hours.
The new flights will be operated using the 160 seat B737-800 offers a total capacity of 1280 seats in both directions on top of the existing capacity of 3206 seats from the A330-200 daily evening flights.
