The New Straits Times reported that an estimate of 2 million cars is expected to hit the PLUS highway tomorrow in conjunction with the Aidiladha celebration.
According to a comment by PLUS Corporate Communications head Mohd Nizam Ismail; “this will be an increase of 23% compared to 1.6 million vehicles on a normal day”.
The data covered traffic volume using all highways under PLUS including the New Klang Valley Expressway, Federal Highway Route 2, ELITE highway, Linkedua highway, Seremban-Port Dickson highway, Butterworth-Kulim highway and Penang Bridge.
Road users are encouraged to follow the advice of the Travel Time Advisory (TTA) issued by PLUS to avoid getting stuck in traffic.
