This article is brought to you in part by British International School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL).
Drums drumming, flags waving ,and music playing… BSKL came alive on International Day in the Primary School this year. The magnificent effort from the parents really showed everyone’s passion for their own respective nations. Each stall in the gym was set up with thought and care, displaying flags, posters, video presentations, traditional games to play, and treats to taste, all in a bid to give the children an exciting insight into some of the 60 nationalities that represent the BSKL community. Not a sound was heard from the crowd as the Secondary Chinese drummers opened the parade with a bang, followed by the children dancing around the pitch in their national costumes, everyone looking colourful and vibrant.
