The genius behind some of the catchiest hits since the King of Pop, such as Treasure, Uptown Funk and 24K Magic, Bruno Mars is finally bringing his 24K Magic World Tour to Malaysia. Happening on 9 May 2018 at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil National Sports Complex in Kuala Lumpur, the Grammy winner will be entertaining his fans with songs from his latest double platinum album. The tour is Mars’ second full-length tour following the 2013 Moonshine Jungle World Tour which sold 2 million tickets worldwide across 155 sold-out dates.
Mars first shot to fame when he was featured as guest vocal on B.o.B’s Nothing on You in 2009. The success of that collaboration was then followed by Travie McCoy’s Billionaire which was co-written by him and went on to sell three million digital downloads. His song writing prowess was further evidenced when his debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans was certified five times platinum in the US – a success which was later followed by his second album Unorthodox Jukebox. With 170 million singles and 26 million albums sold worldwide, and four Grammy Awards under his belt, Mars is a force to be reckoned with.
Behind the spotlight, Mars has written and co-written many other chart-topping songs such as the feel-good soul-pop hit by CeeLo Green, Forget You; the addictive 80’s tune sampled Young, Wild and Free by Snoop Dogg and Whiz Khalifa; the radio hit by Flo Rida and Ke$ha, Right Round; Adele’s hard hitting power ballad, All I Ask and many more.
Tickets to the 24K Magic World Tour are scheduled to go on sale on 14 August 2017 at 10am through www.prworldwidelive.com and www.myticket.asia. Ticket Prices are RM888, RM598, RM398 (excluding ticket fee and GST).
