Seven students, who have been the driving force of the SKIS Eco-School movement, attended the second FOBISIA Environmental Conference in Kathmandu, Nepal. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to explore issues that impact people and countries across Asia. Interacting and learning together with students fro mother British schools in the region, they examined the future of environmental sustainability in Asia and participated in a few practical tasks to develop methods to help poorer communities in Nepal. The students are planning to implement some of the ideas in Malaysia as part of their Eco-Club project.
