Wild Wild Fever: Where Nature and Music Collide
- This event has passed.
In conjunction with WWF-Malaysia’s 45th anniversary, the foundation is hosting the Wild Wild Fever: Where Nature and Music Collide, a concert for Mother Nature at The Bee, Publika. Established as a national conservation trust on 13 January 1972, WWF-Malaysia began as a humble two person-organisation and now boasts more than 200 staff and six conservation programmes. It currently runs more than 90 projects covering a diverse range of environmental conservation and protection work all over the country.
Kicking off Wild Wild Fever at 8pm will be musical legends Markiza and Peter, a husband-and-wife duo who drove Malaysia’s indie scene in the 90’s, followed by indie singer-songwriter Ryota Kayatama, post-rock band The Metaphor, Panda Jam, and lastly, a closing performance by rockers Kaya the Band.
Entrance to Wild Wild Fever concert is FREE and attendees can sign up as donors and also check out cool merchandise sold by the WWF-Malaysia booth near The Bee’s entrance. There will also be fun activities in between the performances and several lucky concert-goers will go home with special gifts from WWF-Malaysia.
