A trip to Langkawi is heaven thanks to its beautiful beaches, duty-free shopping, and exciting attractions for the entire family, and of course, the food.
For those looking for a Malay-themed luxury hideaway, a stay at the Seri Chenang Resort & Spa Langkawi is perfect. Besides being the perfect luxury hideaway, the resort is also home to a new food and beverage outlet, Dapur Warisan, which opened its doors to the public yesterday, 20 March 2013.
Dapur Warisan is headed by Chef Roslan Darus, a Japanese-trained chef, who is also Malaysia’s renowned Chef de Cuisine. The restaurant serves up an interesting platter of traditional Malay fares, fused with eclectic international cuisines. Patrons can choose to dine around the open kitchen on high chairs (best way to observe your meals being prepared) or around the resort at The Wakaf by the pool, and take in the beautiful view of the resort.
The special thing about Dapur Warisan is that it is the first resort restaurant on the island that allows its patrons to bring their own alcohol. Yes, patrons are allowed to bring in their duty-free alcoholic bottles without any additional charges!
Dapur Warisan is located at Seri Chenang Resort & Spa. For more information, please call 04 955 8275.
