Etihad Airways has introduced a new service for those travelling on long haul flights with children; a nanny service!
A new dedicated in-flight childcare assistance program was recently launched for travelling families on long-haul flights. A flying nanny will be wearing an orange apron to distinguish her from Etihad’s normal flight attendant. She will serve the needs of families and unaccompanied minors, as well as support other cabin crew members when they interact with families.
Each nanny will have a special kit containing straws, stickers, cardboard and other items that can be used to entertain kids in simple arts and crafts. Parents and other passengers can now rest in peace without any disturbance from young ones.
