“Eight Centuries of Choral Music” at PenangPac this Weekend

There will a great concert this weekend at Straits Quay of music spanning eight centuries. The first piece was written in the 14th century and the last piece was written three years ago (an arrangement of Five  Malaysian Songs). In between there will be well-known works as the Hallelujah Chorus, Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring,  Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus, Puccini’s Humming Chorus, an excerpt from “Carmina Burana” and music from the film “The Mission”.

The concert will last 90 minutes (including an interval) and tickets (RM33 and RM23 concessions) are now on sale at the Box Office, but you will be able to purchase them at the Box Office prior to the concerts.
