What could be better for getting minglers in the mood than a night at the fiery Latin bar Qba, where the warm interiors channel the vibrant Havana spirit and the hectic world of Bukit Bintang bustles just outside the window.
A good crowd joined us at the January Mingle, and everyone was pleased to get their hands on a glass of Cronier wine or an icy Tiger beer (courtesy of Guinness Anchor Berhad) to get the weekend going early. Conversations had to be broken for the food, which delighted the guests with its tangy tastes and choice: the Smoked Chicken Wings came with smoked BBQ sauce, while the Homemade Lamb Meatballs were nibbled the moment they appeared. Sweeter treats came in the form of a Mocca Cocoa Praline and a Blueberry Almond Hollander.
With hunger and thirst satiated, attention was turned to the fantastic lucky prize draw that rounded off the superb evening of fun. Those with the winning tickets got their hands on tickets to Return of the Warriors (courtesy of Tune Talk), tickets to Penang and/ or Singapore on Firefly, Mandara Spa vouchers, Sunway Lagoon tickets, or some brilliant dining vouchers courtesy of The Westin Kuala Lumpur.
