The city is changing, and the 150 guests that joined us for an early Valentine’s Day celebration at Icon City were wowed with the living environment that this new development could offer them and their families in the years to come.
The Expat Group teamed up with Mah Sing to bring a group of intrigued expats to the new development Icon City, and once they had enjoyed tours of the show units, attendees were eager to discuss their thoughts on the new property over plates of delicious food supplied by Lynn’s Catering.
Servings of Caesar Salad, Italian Herb Spaghetti, Chicken Curry, and Grilled Terriyaki Chicken were just a few of the dishes on offer at the buffet, and glasses of red and white wine – or mugs of cold beer – were readily available for those keen to toast to an enjoyable Saturday night.
A live band got the party going as the sun slipped away, and a fashion show also served to delight the guests and add many items to the Valentine’s Day wish list, courtesy of the Amee Philips jewellery adorning the models. Men could have their moment of pleasure too thanks to the Hyundai cars that were on display, and all guests were united in their excitement for the lucky draw.
Tickets for the draw were clutched eagerly as the prizes came out, and those with winning numbers walked away with some fabulous prizes. Dining vouchers for The Westin – either for the Sunday Bubbalicious Brunch at Prego (for two) or a Simply Dim Sum Brunch at Five Sen5es (for two) – or for various other establishments spread throughout the city were up for grabs, while ladies were clearly hoping for the pearl set worth RM5,000 from Amee Philips, one of the three Crabtree & Evelyn gift sets, the voucher for the Mandara Spa, or a goodie hamper of Mandara Spa beauty products. Two bottles of wine completed a great spread of prizes, and the lucky winners were clearly thrilled.
It may have only been 2 February, but it was a love-ly early Valentine’s Day celebration for all who made it down to Icon City to share food and fun and to get acquainted with a new development that will be stirring up the property market in the coming months. Thanks to all who joined us!
