Music has always been a part of Bernard’s life, and his passion for drumming took him and his instruments all over the country before he formed, fifteen years ago, what has become Malaysia’s premier festive drumming company. Whether you view it as gospel or mumbo jumbo, Chinese astrology is a mighty industry and this young man has whittled his way to the top. Joe Sidek
The multitalented 53-yearold may own a textile factory, but his passion is for life, and during his years he has turned his hand to everything from owning a modeling agency to landscaping a garden in San Francisco. Chan Kiat Lim
Awards and accolades have rained down on this talented music maestro, who tours the world as a soloist as well as playing with ensembles in countries as diverse as Italy, Romania, and the US. For the last 17 years he has made the US his home, where the 38-year-old works as an Associate Professor at the University of Louisiana teaching piano, piano literature, and pedagogy, the latter being the topic of a book he recently published.
