Those who joined us for the monthly mingle in June got the opportunity to meet one of the new faces on the restaurant and bar scene. Paradiso, tucked inside up-and-coming mall Publika, welcomed a record number of expats in the mood for some pints of Anchor Smooth (courtesy of Guinness Anchor Bhd) and glasses of white and red wines, generously supplied by Cronier Wines.
The venue was quickly full on the evening in question, and as plates of canapés came out of the kitchen, familiar folk and newbies swapped stories and numbers and generally let their hair down as a long week had (almost) come to an end.
As always, the lucky draw was announced towards the end of the night to a hopeful crowd, and the first prize of two flights to Jakarta from KLM was followed with RM100 spa vouchers (from the London Orchid), RM100 dining vouchers, and bottles of wines, as well as a year’s subscription to our magazine Senses of Malaysia. The sign of a good night is the time that guests vacate, and Paradiso was serving drinks long into the night!
