No Christmas celebration would be complete without a Christmas pudding.Though these traditional desserts are often referred to as plum puddings, most modern recipes extend to include many other fruits. Sweet spices are an essential inclusion to develop the rich aroma, and some people even slip in small coins to bring wealth to the person who gets them. Often prepared weeks (if not months) in advance, the pudding is steamed for many hours and served hot, often in flaming alcohol, with custard, cream, or ice cream.
