Frances Wilks

Frances Wilks heads up the Expat Group in Penang where she is responsible for Penang International, a magazine which is not only for expats but also for people visiting the island. Having grown up there (with lengthy stints away in Britain and Sri Lanka) she regards herself as an honorary Penangite. With a background in media (radio and television) she loves the human interest in a story. In fact this lead her to study Psychology and become a psychotherapist before turning back to the thing she loves most - writing.
