The Latin Women’s Association of Malaysia (LWAM) is a non-profit organization that promotes activities and events to help integrate the Ibero american community in Malaysia while supporting those who are in need.

We are a nonprofit association created by Datin Mary Musa in 1970, with the following objectives:

  • Create and promote friendship among Spanish-speaking residents in Malaysia.
  • Promote, develop and organize activities to preserve the language, dances, food, customs and Latin traditions.
  • Promote greater understanding and appreciation of the multiracial and multicultural society of Malaysia.
  • Perform and promote activities that benefit organizations that lack of economic, welfare and support.

Our activities include – cooking Classes, monthly coffee, welcome coffee, book club, movie club, craft club, Latin dance classes, annual spring party, grand charity ball.
