In a move to bring Malaysia Airports Niaga, better known as ERAMAN, to new heights, the retail arm of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad is rebranding its duty free and duty paid retail stores and F&B outlets with bold steps. ERAMAN will be playing an integral role with the expansion of its outlet spaces in conjunction with the Commercial Reset Strategy initiative to become the most preferred airport travel retail and duty-free option in Asia Pacific. The relaunching also sees ERAMAN realigning product categories and revamping store concept designs in addition to enhancing guest experience through experiential marketing and digitalisation ventures.

With a history of 25 years in the business, this rebranding exercise is hoped to boost ERAMAN’s brand awareness and presence in the circle of local and international travellers. Noting its strength in sales growth and also catering unique experiences to customers, chairman Datuk Seri Michael Yam considers this event to be a refreshing of the brand.

The brand refresh initiative will include a redesigning not only limited to the layout of the outlets, but also to the logo itself. Coloured in a vibrant purple hue, the letter ‘e’ standing for ERAMAN has been encapsulated in a hexagonal gift box with the ‘e’ shaped by its ribbon. The design speaks to promise excitement, ensuring ERAMAN is here to warmly welcome and impart heartfelt gifts for oneself and souvenirs for loved ones.

Together with the relaunching event, ERAMAN also honoured business partners and dedicated staff who have made contributions to the company’s growth.

To the business partners, awards such as the ERAMAN Excellence Award (recognising the highest revenue contribution by product category from 2016 to 2018), the Best Growth Award (to partners who have demonstrated significant sales growth by product category from 2016 to 2018), and the Most Supportive Business Partner 2019 Award in three areas: engagement by Leadership Team, capex support, and marketing support and innovation.

To the dedicated staff members, ERAMAN acknowledged top ten performers in its retail operations staff (via Mystery Shopper survey conducted externally), and celebrated employees who have tenured lifelong careers with the company for 20 to 25 years for stellar and long service records.

ERAMAN Duty Free continues to provide operations in five international airports and one domestic airport in Malaysia, offering a wide range of world class and exclusive products including chocolates, perfumes and cosmetics, liquor, fashion and accessories, as well as tobacco products; all of which are sourced globally.
