Guinness, the Official Beer of the Premier League, is set to offer an exciting football viewing experience on 19th October 2024 at Sentul Depot, Kuala Lumpur. The highly anticipated Guinness Matchday promises to bring football fans and Guinness lovers together for an epic evening of sports and entertainment.
Fans from all teams are invited to watch two Premier League matches—Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United and Manchester United vs Brentford—on an enormous 8m x 14m screen. Beyond the live matches, attendees can participate in football-themed activities and win exclusive prizes, including free Guinness, football jerseys signed by legends, customisable Guinness jerseys, and other limited-edition merchandise (while supplies last).
The highlight of the event is the Grand Prize – an all-expenses-paid trip for two to England to watch a Premier League match in April 2025. This will be one of three Premier League season Grand Prizes, and the first winner will be chosen that night.
Shaun Lim, Marketing Manager for Wheatbeer, Stout, and Diageo Brands at Heineken Malaysia Berhad, commented, “Guinness Matchday is more than just a viewing party—it’s an immersive celebration of everything that makes football and Guinness iconic. Whether you’re here for the passion of the game or the camaraderie of sharing a pint, this event is designed to unite fans in a truly unforgettable way.”
The event will also feature exclusive Guinness-infused dishes from renowned local food vendors such as Kitchen Mafia, Tipsy Boar, Kao BBQ, Yat Sing, and Caketella.
The festivities run from 4:00 pm to midnight, with every goal and cheer complemented by a perfect pint of Guinness.
