To meet the high demand for flights this coming Hari Raya season, Firefly announced that the airline will mount five additional flights to Kota Bharu, three additional flights to Pekanbaru and two additional flights to Medan from its central hub in Subang. The airline will also add one additional flight to Langkawi, from its northern hub in Penang. The additional flights will depart on 16, 17, 18, 25 and 26 August 2012.
According to Firefly’s CEO, Ignatius Ong, “Historically, the demand for flights on these routes during the Raya period has always been high, but this year the demand has been even more so.”
The airline is also offering an all-in, one-way promotion starting from RM59 for domestic destinations and starting from RM99 for regional destinations. This promotion is only valid for booking from now till 27 July 2012, for travel from 1 August to 31 October 2012.
“I urge everyone to quickly make their respective purchases soonest as we foresee the tickets being snapped up at a very fast pace,” advises Ong
