The InterContinental Kuala Lumpur has just welcomed a new Executive Chef to its ranks, and the Aussie chef is wasting no time in getting to work and shaking up the various restaurants within the hotel.
Chef Darrell J. O’Neill comes to Malaysia for the first time after years spent in various hotels and restaurants dotted throughout the globe including stints in Hong Kong, London, France, and, most recently, the Maldives.
Despite being trained in traditional French cuisine, Darrell has long been passionate about Asian food, particularly the delicate style of Japanese dishes, which shows in his creative, East-meets-West menus.
