Saturday, September 15 2012 will be the day that LEGOLAND® Malaysia opens its doors to fans. The date was announced by Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of LEGOLAND® Malaysia, who also hoped that with the date now revealed, families and tour operators can begin planning their trips to visit the theme park.
“The Park is now 75% complete with many of the rides and park infrastructure complete. Next month our contractors will begin the work on the theming of the Park and the installing of millions of LEGO bricks and the attractions,” said Chief Executive Officer of IDR Resorts, Muhammad Zainal Ashikin b. Muhammad Rejab.
Inspired by Asia’s growing love affair with all things LEGO, the new 90-acre theme park will cater to kids aged 2 to 12 with more than 40 “pink-knuckle” rides – from roller coasters to race cars, as well as family focused interactive shows and attractions.
