More Rain Expected Throughout November

The rainy season may have put a damper on your mood, especially when you are stuck in traffic.

So when will sunny Malaysia be back? Unfortunately, the people at the Meteorological Department released a statement confirming that the erratic weather (rain and shine) is expected to continue throughout November.

According to the Meteorological Department, this is due to the changing and uncertain wind directions. The Department also says that the heavy rain and thunderstorms in the evenings is expected to last until early November in the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, especially in Perak and the Klang Valley.

“In the east coast of the Peninsular and Sabah and Sarawak, rainfall is expected to increase in November…at this time the northeast monsoon season is in its early stages,” said a spokesperson when contacted by Bernama.
