Local K-POP fans take note; the man who has been making a name for himself international with his “Gangnam Style” song and dance will be making his way to Malaysia soon. Yes, PSY will perform his famous jig to local fans, as he attends the Golden Disk Awards, South Korean’s biggest music awards, which Malaysia is hosting.
The Golden Disk Awards is said to take place at the Sepang International Circuit on 15 and 16 January 2013.
About 20 South Korean artists, together with PSY, will be performing at the event. This includes Big Bang, Super Junior, KARA, T-ara, CNBue, FT Island, Infinite, Girls Generation and Beast.
The annual Golden Disk Awards dubbed as the Korean Grammy Awards is the most prestigious K-POP music awards for outstanding achievements in the music industry.
Tickets for the show are priced at RM688 and RM888 for both days, and can be purchased via www.ticketpro.com.my, or by calling 03 78807999. Tickets go on sale starting 9 December 2012.
