A two-metre long crocodile was caught in a drain of a housing estate yesterday.
Residents of Kepayan Ridge in Kota Kinabalu who first spotted the crocodile a week ago were extremely relieved that the crocodile was finally captured.
After a report by residents, the Sabah Wildlife Department, the Fire and Rescue Department and the Civil Defense Department worked together to capture the reptile.
No harm will befall the crocodile though, as it will be released in a crocodile sanctuary, probably somewhere in the east coast.
