There will be a temporary lane closure, for MRT works, at Jalan Sultan Ismail. The closure is immediately after the intersection of Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Sultan Ismail towards Jalan Raja Chulan. This closure, which is only at night, will be carried out in stages between 11and 22 January 2013.
Based on a report on Bernama, the closure will cover a 10-metre stretch and will involve a one-lane closure at a time, beginning with the left-most lane. This will be implemented in stages at night between 12am and 6am.
Motorists are advised to look out for safety barriers, hoardings and traffic cones which will be installed at the work site to ensure all motorists are well-informed of the on-going works. In case of an emergency, the Emergency Response Team will be on hand to handle it.
