According to the latest Asia Business Outlook Survey by the Economist Corporate Network, Malaysia is fourth on the list of the top 13 investment destination in Asia.
The survey, conducted annually, revealed that China and India remain the top two investment destinations among Economist Corporate Network companies. Indonesia comes in third.
The 2013 Asia Business Outlook Survey was completed by 207 senior executives who operate in a widespread of industries; financial services, manufacturing, retail, healthcare and others. The survey respondents are largely reflected by the views of the Western multinationals in Asia. About 43% of the foreign companies in this year’s survey said they will increase their investment in Malaysia in 2013.
