In conjunction with Federal Territory Day on 1 February 2013, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will offer discounts for compound payments to traffic offenders, throughout February.
Bernama wrote that all traffic compounds issued by DBKL would be charged RM30 during the whole month.
According to Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin, the discounts are for traffic compounds issued before 1 March, 2012, and payments can be made at all DBKL counters on weekdays.
Usually, a traffic offense such as causing road obstructions and parking in illegal places can cost RM100.
