According to a report on Bernama, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad’s (KTMB) Electric Train Service (ETS) would operate for 24 hours in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations and the mass exodus expected between Friday and Sunday.
A statement by KTMB says there will be six additional trains beginning operations after the last train in the current schedule ends.
The additional train service involves ETS Silver for two sectors, namely the KL Sentral-Ipoh on 12.05pm, 2.05am and 4.05am and Ipoh-KL Sentral at 11pm, 1am and 3am.
Those interested can get tickets at KTMB ticket counters or by cooking through the KTMB Calling Centre at 1300 88 5862 starting from today.
