Don’t worry folks; this has nothing to do with on-going MRT works. It’s the Formula 1 season in Malaysia, so expect to come across a whole host of activities centred on this exciting and fast-paced sport.
The roads, Jalan Ampang and Jalan P.Ramlee, will be closed on 17, 22 and 23 March in conjunction with two Petronas Malaysia Formula One Grand Prix events, which will take place around the KLCC area.
According to the Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), both roads will be closed in stages from midnight to 7.30pm for the Petronas Motorsports Demo Run.
According to Bernama, the Petronas Motorsports Demo Run will feature teams sponsored by Petronas (Mercedes AMG Petronas, Team Petronas Syntium, Team Meritus GP and Hong Leong Yamaha) and will showcase Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One talent development programme drivers.
