From now until the 4th of June, use the MyTeksi application to book a cab in Kuching, and you get to ride to your destination for free! MyTeksi is waiving all taxi fares worth RM30 and below, to celebrate its official launch in Sarawak (held on the 28th of May), following its successful beta trial in Kuching. This promotion is unlimited so passengers are encouraged to redeem it as many times as they wish, until the 4th of June.
According to Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) chief executive director Datuk Rahid Khan, launching MyTeksi in Kuching was a wonderful move, especially with the Rainforest Music Festival set to take place soon.
“We are sure that visitors to the state will find this handy and a pleasant addition to the public transport services currently in the state,” he said.
To redeem your free ride, you would need to key in Kuching in the ‘Promo Code’ field. The promotion is valid for rides within Kuching city only.
