The 1,600 Pandas World Tour has finally arrived in Malaysia! The tour made its debut in KL, on Sunday, at Dataran Merdeka. A crowd of excited visitors gathered to snap pictures of the adorbale pandas.

In case youw ere wondering, these are not just ordinary pandas, but papier mache pandas made in various poses, emotions and sizes. They were made using recycled paper.
These sculptures have been exhibited more than a 100 times across the globe including the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Made by French Sculptor Paulo Grangeon in collaboration with WWF, these sculptures are symbolic representations of the amount of pandas left in the world. The tour is a part of the global effort to promote the need for panda conservation and sustainable development.
Funds raised from this tour and exhibition will be contributed to support WWF-Malaysia’s ongoing conservation efforts.
These adorable pandas will be exhibited at over 15 iconic landmarks in Malaysia, including Taman Negara, Dataran Putrajaya, Batu Caves, Taiping Lake, Malacca Red Square, National Monument, Cheong Fatt Tze, and the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan among others.
