Malaysia’s national carrier, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) recently announced that it will include fuel surcharge for its tickets. The surcharged was introduced early this month with MAS adding in the surcharge to tickets issued on or after 1 June, for travel originating from Singapore.
The fuel surcharges will vary according to the type of tickets purchased (class) and your destination. The range is between US$101 (ticket+ fuel surcharge) for Economy class on the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur route and US$775 (ticket+ fuel surcharge) for Business Class tickets to Los Angeles.
Fuel surcharges will slowly be introduced for all tickets throughout Malaysia Airline’s worldwide network.
