The last Mingle saw a number of expats braving the rush hour traffic for a night of fun and merriment. Held at House in GTower on Jalan Tun Razak, this edition of the Mingle saw the arrival of a large number of people ready for great conversation and an enjoyable night ahead. Guests were greeted with much-welcomed beer (sponsored by GAB – Anchor Smooth and Tiger Beer), as well as wine courtesy of Cronier Wines, while they chatted and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Delicious nosh was served up, in the form of canapés that were so yummy, you just had to go back for more! Revellers nibbled on delightful smoked salmon tartare on crispy toast, succulent pieces of honey-glazed chicken, heaty beef meatballs with truffle cream, and miniature chocolate tarts for those with a hankering for something sweet.
The biggest cheer of the night was of course, reserved for the Lucky Draw prize winners announcement. This Mingle’s prizes proved to be as popular as ever, with attendees clamouring every time a number was called out. Lucky winners took home a 3-day/2-night stay at the Batik Boutique Hotel in Kuching, wine and F&B vouchers, as well as hotly anticipated tickets to the Kuala Lumpur Open Tennis Championship sponsored by House. A huge thank you to the sponsors!
Although it was a fun occasion, the event marked the farewell of a few long-serving expats in KL who were sad to leave, but expressed their gratitude towards the expat community and thanked them for the great memories. ‘Til the next one!
