There was a Bollywood theme for our latest Expat Wine Dinner, though it seemed most guests decided to forego the costumes and just come for the experience. Passage Thru India is a longtime destination restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, so many were looking forward to the uncommon pairing of Indian food and good wines. A wide range of Indian dishes were served, from Kashmiri Lollipops, Roganjosh, and Tikka Butter Masala to Aloo Matar, Bendi Masala, and Prawn Chettinad. With so many dishes offered, diners had plenty to choose from to find their favourites. This was a fun-loving group, and expats uniformly praised both the ambiance and the quality and variety of wines on offer, which included a Cronier Cuvée Brut, Cuvée Rosé, and Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir from the Morande Reserva line. As you can see in the photos, everyone had a great time. Thanks to everyone who attended the fun-filled evening!
