United States President Barack Obama will be arriving in Kuala Lumpur this Saturday, 26 April, 2014. The President will arrive at the RMAF base in Subang in his Air Force One.

Obama’s planned trip in October last year was cancelled due to a partial US Government shutdown.
It will be a busy weekend for the US President. On Saturday, there will be a welcome ceremony at Parliament Square, followed by an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and a state banquet at Istana Negara.
On Sunday, Obama will visit the US Embassy before being escorted for a cultural visit to Masjid Negara. There will also be official talks with Malaysia’s Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in Putrajaya and signing of MoUs to be witnessed by both Obama and Najib. Obama will also be present for the launch of the Malaysian Global Innovation and Creative Centre (MaGIC) in Cyberjaya.
Later on, he will attend a town hall session at University Malaya with young leaders selected from all 10 ASEAN nations. He is also scheduled to meet the Malaysian civil rights leaders and witness the signing of several corporate agreements before leaving for Manila.
