Indian food is available almost anywhere in Kuala Lumpur, but it’s often more tricky to find an upscale restaurant that serves authentic fare. The Olive Tree at Menara Hap Seng manages to strike this balance with apparent ease. Helmed by Leslie Gomez, The Olive Tree has gained an admirable following since its inception in 2007.
The menu, like most Indian establishments, is extremely varied. Mostly concentrating on creamier North Indian fare, The Olive Tree is well-versed in the art of producing reliable, tasty food. As with other Indian restaurants, there are plenty of delicious vegetarian options, so if you invite your vego friends along, you know they’re in for a treat.
